Graphic Packaging International Named to Newsweek’s America’s Most Responsible Companies List for the Third Year in a Row
April 25, 2023
Graphic Packaging International has been named to Newsweek’s list of America’s Most Responsible Companies for the third year running. This prestigious award is jointly presented by Newsweek and Statista, the world’s leading statistics portal and industry ranking provider.
The ranking focuses on a holistic view of corporate responsibility that considers all three pillars of ESG: Environment, Social, and Corporate Governance. 2,000 of the largest U.S. companies were assessed, based on publicly available key performance indicators derived from corporate annual reports, sustainability reports, and corporate citizenship reports, in addition to an independent survey of 11,000 U.S. residents that evaluated company reputations. The final list, which spans 14 industries, recognizes the top 500 companies with the highest scores as the most responsible companies in the United States.
In celebration of the contribution that fiber-based consumer packaging makes to the circular economy, the Company created an animation for this year’s Earth Day. It demonstrates that when brands choose fiber-based packaging it can enable today’s consumers to support the circular economy of tomorrow and make a world of difference to our planet’s future.
